Philosophy of Mistress Suzan
It is my belief that Mastery, like slavery is a journey to one’s self and is very personal to the
individual. It is also my belief that the title of "Master" is less about gender and more about
the reflection of one's position in a D/s relationship as it pertains to the control
of another.
Although this position for many is strictly erotic in nature, for others it is the core of one's
personality. The need to control another is also balanced with an overall sense of
responsibility for those who serve the Master.
Mastery is based on the precept that I must earn the respect of those who serve me, if I
am to expect them to give of their will completely and without reservation and with all the
intensity and dedication I require, I must accept the responsibility of teacher, mentor, and
sometimes disciplinarian. I must be able to see the value in those who serve Me. I must be
able to recognize within a slave, his or her "slave heart." When that slave is ready I must
be willing and able to teach what I know.
Lastly, My goal at the end of each day is to become a better Master to My slaves and for
My Community.
Along with having a philosophy of how I will form and execute my Mastery I also feel its
important to form a list of core values to live by. Below is a list of those core values
